I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Galena, Illinois. The rooms were really clean and comfortable, making my stay truly relaxing. The service was top-notch with super nice staff and a delicious breakfast selection. The location was excellent, just a 5-minute drive from downtown Galena. The facilities were fantastic, especially the fun slide and hot tub, providing a great time for families.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were a bit small and cramped, lacking extra seating aside from some hard straight chairs. However, the staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the area, making it a great choice for a family stay. The location was convenient, although during peak breakfast times, it felt too small to accommodate all guests. The dining experience wasn't exactly what I expected, but the fresh local fish was outstanding. The facilities were decent, and the price seemed reasonable for the value provided.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, making my visit enjoyable. However, there was sometimes a loud vibration noise that was a bit bothersome. The service was mostly friendly and eager to please, although there was an issue with maintenance workers not being able to repair our unit during our stay. The hotel's location was perfect for my split Galena/Dubuque vacation, being well-lit and comfortable. The dining experience was above average, with changing daily options that I appreciated.
